ICT Support

Primary ICT is dedicated to providing high quality support that is tailored to schools' individuals needs and requirements.

The range of provision aims to encompass all aspects of ICT throughout the primary school. Professional development is available through:

• Hands-On Support - working alongside the teacher at a level tailored to their individual pace and capability to build their confidence and ICT skills in the classroom.
• Inset and Twilights - day courses, school based twilight training sessions and a six-week training program to develop the ICT skills and confidence of support staff.
• ICT Co-ordinator Support - support and guidance is designed to assist them in fulfilling and developing their role in school. This includes termly ICT co-ordinator network meetings and one-to-one guidance.
• ICT Projects - providing schools with opportunities to extend ICT further, exploring and creating Digital Video Newsletters, Stop-motion animation movies, 'Podcasting' activities with pupils and using an EDA to support teaching and learning in Foundation Stage classroom.
